This page will be used to offer thanks to
those who continue to offer their support
to Scouting in Troop 98.
Thank You!!!!!
May 2005
Continued Thanks go out to Dan Withers, from
D.L. Withers Construction
out of Phoenix, Arizona.
Dan, a former Scout himself, is giving this new adventurous group of boys
his financial and moral support. Without his help, they would not have had
the opportunity to purchase thier camping and geocaching equipment that they
needed so badly for all of their outings. Dan also played a big part
in uniforming our boys with thier now famous custom
hats, t-shirts, and neckerchiefs... all of which carry
the new mascot of Troop 98,
Nubis, the Family Cat... Chaa!
THANK YOU DAN!!

We would like to thank the Surprise Independent for truly representing what a local newspaper is all about. The Independent is one of the few papers that embrace the idea of allowing its readers to submit photographs and stories of happenings in their local community.
The Independent has published many pictures and articles about our Scouts and their leaders over the last several years, and we would like to ofiicially thank them for their support and great job on producing a wonderful newspaper.

We would like to thank Jeff Sloggett at
for providing us with a place for the Troop to hold thier weekly meetings.
This is just one of many examples where PEC has "Soared Above The Rest"
in providing a service to their community,
in this case by supporting Troop 98.
Big hugs and thanks also go to Synthia, our Angel at PEC,
who helped us to secure PEC as our new home!
It is a great fit for the PEC Eagles to support a Boy Scout Troop
that is dedicated to earning thier Eagle Scout ranks!
